In a groundbreaking shift, the U.S. now boasts approximately one EV fast charging station for every 15 gas stations, marking a pivotal moment in transportation history.
Highlighted by a Bloomberg analysis of DOE data, the rise in public DC fast charging stations, spearheaded notably by Tesla, has surged by 7.2% in the first quarter alone, with 600 new stations powering up across the country.
But the momentum doesn’t stop there. DOE data reveals a staggering 62,545 level 2 and level 3 charging stations, offering a whopping 167,537 EV charging ports, underscoring the nation’s commitment to electrified transportation.
